LT8700 and DVB2000
|
To control your Echostar™ LT8700 via the Nokia Mediamaster™ you have to:
Connect the serial ports of the LT and the Mediamaster™ with a 1:1 serial cable
(no nullmodem cable)
Activate the LT control in the DVB2000 (Menu 9 A). You can choose between
positioner only and positioner and polarizer control.
The video pid of the satellite markers (channels with frequency 0) has
to be set to the number the satellite has in the LT8700. To do this, please use
SetEdit, choose the "sat list" view mode, click with the right mouse button on
a satellite and select "change LT Sat Nr.".
If you select such a sat marker in the DVB2000 now (double arrow, then left or
right arrow key + OK) the dish moves to the selected satellite.
If you change a channel and the option "polarizer" is activ in the DVB2000 the
LT8700 will set the polarizer and select the correct frequency band.
